Location, location, location! Bass Lake / Yosemite house with peak a boo lake views all around. We are one house off the water and about 100 yard walk from the Falls Beach area. Please be sure to read the entire description. Our home is located just 30 minutes from the southern entrance (Highway 41) into Yosemite National Park. This beautiful lakefront family home has three floors (4500 sq. ft.) overlooking the lake in the prime area of Willow Cove. This area of the lake is safe from speeding boats as it is in a 5-mile an hour zone. This also reduces the noise level. The main floor is on the middle level. Here you will find a large living room with ample seating for your family. The living room also features the original granite fireplace built in 1942. The cabin was renovated and enlarged in 1984 when we bought it. The game table off the living room is a wonderful place for playing cards & games, working puzzles or writing emails (free wifi) while looking out at the lake. The dining room also looks onto the lake and can seat 10 at the large dining table. The two adjacent eating counters seat 4 each. The French doors from the dining room open onto a covered deck with ceiling fan and a large round patio table that seats 8. This deck is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee as you watch the sun come up or for an evening bbq. The large gas fueled bbq is located adjacent to this seating area. Propane tank is provided. The recently renovated kitchen is fully equipped with a five-burner gas cooktop, convection oven, a microwave oven, dishwasher and trash compactor. You'll find plenty of dinnerware and cookware for your use. For coffee lovers there is also an expresso/cappuccino maker and two 12- cup coffee pots. The central island/chopping block is ideal for the whole family to help prepare some delicious meals together. A washer & dryer plus a second refrigerator are located just steps from the kitchen. Also on the main level there are two bedrooms each with queen size beds. The two shared bathrooms have double sinks and tub/shower. On the top floor is the large master bedroom suite with a freestanding fireplace, seating area and private bath with double sinks and double-headed shower. The second master bedroom has a queen size bed and private bath with tub/shower. Both third floor bedrooms overlook the lake. On the lower level is a family room and two bedrooms facing the lake. The family room has a queen size sleeper sofa and a twin trundle that sleeps two. One of the bedrooms features a queen size bed and other bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed. The fourth bathroom with double sinks & a tub/shower is on this lower level. The French doors from the family room take you out to a lake level patio with table and chairs to seat 6. Another recent addition is a cushioned seating bench that seats 4. This is a great area for watching a hot game of horseshoes once the lake level is down a little. Just a few steps down is a wide sandy beach with a horseshoe pit, room for sunbathing and building sand castles. On the beach or dock we provide four chaise lounges to relax on while you read or watch the kids play. Our dock has room for you to have two boats or one boat and one jet ski. Depending on lake level, the beach may be underwater in early summer. We have free wifi and a Verizon signal extender. We have rented our home during the summer for over 22 years. Our home is located in the coveted Willow Cove area and is walking distance to the Pines Village where you will find three restaurants, a full service grocery, deli, bakery/pizza, a souvenir shop and a surf shop.
